Peter Hendrik Kook Share

Peter graduated from Hannover Veterinary school in Germany and also finished his first internship and doctoral dissertation (Dr.med.
vet.) at Hannover Veterinary school. After some years in private referral practice, where he worked mainly in surgery, he decided to
specialize in internal medicine. Peter pursued another internship followed by a small animal internal medicine residency (ACVIM) at
the University of Zurich, Switzerland and the University of Georgia, USA. Peter achieved board certification (ACVIM) in 2007 and was
granted the ECVIM-CA title in 2009. After submitting his habilitation he was awarded the Venia legendi in Small Animal Internal Medicine
in 2015. His focus in internal medicine is the field of gastroenterology and since 2008 he is the head of a busy gastroenterology service at the Clinic for Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Zurich. Peter spends his time seeing patients, teaching students, interns and residents and doing clinical research.
