Céline Brugada

Céline graduated magna cum laude from UGent in 2019 . Already during her studies, her love for Cardiology grew. Shortly after graduation, she followed a one-year rotating internship at the same faculty. During this year, her first publication in veterinary cardiology also followed.

The following two years, she worked full time at the Department of Anesthesia & Analgesia of Small Pets at the Merelbeke faculty, where she was responsible for the anesthesia and pain management . She also supervised and trained (final-year) students and supervised Master’s thesis students. Since early 2022, Céline has been working full-time
for Nesto in multiple practices. In this year, she also started the Cardiology track at the European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies (ESAVS) and attended several continuing education courses in Cardiology and ultrasound.

In May 2023, she also started as a Cardiology Intern at the University of Utrecht to further expand her knowledge and skills in the field of cardiology and to participate in research in this field.
